Dr. Cave has a special interest in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment and often speaks to regional audiences on the topic of osteoporosis prevention and treatment. She values her opportunities to teach women how to live healthier and take charge of their own health care through wellness screenings and counseling. Dr. Cave especially enjoys being a part of a family’s new beginning with the birth of a child. She is very interested in innovative surgical techniques such as robotic surgery, and appreciates being able to treat patients both medically and surgically.
Dr. Cave is a member of the Vanderburgh County Medical Society, Indiana State Medical Association, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and South Central OB/GYN Society. Currently a member of the University of Kentucky Medical School Alumni Board, Dr. Cave also has served for the past nine years as Board President of the Shelter for Women and Children in Henderson, KY. She is a supporter of the Henderson Area Arts Alliance and the Henderson Fine Arts Center. Dr. Cave and her husband have two children and are active in their church. She is an avid UK basketball fan – and a fan of sports in general – and plays USTA tennis. Dr. Cave also enjoys supporting her children’s involvement in dance, music and sports programs.
