Women’s Health Care, P.C. Earns AIUM Ultrasound Practice Accreditation
Newburgh, Indiana – Women’s Health Care, P.C., in Newburgh was recently awarded Ultrasound Practice Accreditation in the areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology by the Ultrasound Practice Council of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM).
The AIUM announced that Women’s Health Care, P.C.. (WHCPC) earned this recognition by meeting rigorous voluntary guidelines set by the diagnostic ultrasound profession.
During the accreditation process, all facets of WHCPC’s practice were assessed, including the training and qualifications of physicians and sonographers; ultrasound equipment maintenance; documentation; storage and record-keeping practices; policies and procedures to protect patients and staff; quality assurance methods; and thoroughness, technical quality and interpretation of sonograms the practice performs.
