Melissa Reisinger, MD, FACOG

Dr. Reisinger serves on the Board of The Women’s Hospital. She currently serves as the Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Women’s Hospital. Dr. Reisinger enjoys being actively involved in making policies that support high quality and safe patient care.

Dr. Reisinger enjoys treating women in all phases of life, from adolescence to childbearing years and through the midlife changes associated with menopause. As part of her OB/GYN specialty, she performs surgery for all gynecologic disorders. She especially enjoys sharing the first moments of life with a family when their newborn is delivered. Dr. Reisinger and her husband, who is also a physician, have three daughters.

Dr. Mann joined Women’s Health Care, PC in 2008 after completing her residency at a Michigan State affiliated program in Grand Blanc, MI. She returned to the tri-state to serve the community she loves and also where she grew up.  She enjoys developing life long bonds with her patients. Whether caring for their needs as a teenager, an expectant mom, or someone with menopausal concerns, she knows she can make a difference!

She is a member of the patient safety committee, finance committee and OB perinatal committee at The Women’s Hospital. Outside of work, she enjoys being a wife and mother, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Mann enjoys all aspects of obstetric and of gynecologic surgery and has a particular interest in laparoscopy and minimally-invasive surgery. Dr. Mann also has training in robotic surgery. In spite of all this, he states that delivering babies “is the coolest thing in medicine.” To Dr. Mann, educating and building good rapport with his patients is paramount.

Dr. Mann spent six years as Department Chief and remains active in his hospital committee work. He currently sits on the Board of Managers of The Women’s Hospital. In addition, he serves on the OB perinatal committee, and the GYN Morbidity and Mortality committee. He is board certified by the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Mann has called Evansville his home since 2001, when he returned from serving overseas in the U.S. Army.

Dr. Mann is an avid golfer and sports fan.  He anxiously awaits the triumphant return of his Kansas City Chiefs to the Super Bowl (since 1970).

Susan Leinenbach, MD, FACOG

Dr. Leinenbach enjoys her work in the field of obstetrics and gynecology very much. She finds satisfaction in getting to know her patients and their families, and appreciates the diversity of her days, which are filled by seeing patients, performing gynecologic surgery and delivering babies. Dr. Leinenbach always looks forward to the joyous occasion of helping bring her patients’ babies into the world.

Dr. Leinenbach and her husband have two daughters. Her personal interests include playing piano, shopping with her daughters and traveling to New York. She is a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

Ellen Merrick, MD, FACOG

Dr. Merrick enjoys educating her patients so they can make smart informed choices about their own health care. She helps patients navigate treatment options and alternative therapies from birth control to hormone replacement. Dr. Merrick finds it especially rewarding to guide patients through the life changing events of pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. As a Biomedical Engineer, she takes pride in the precision required for the best surgical outcomes. She performs vaginal, minimally invasive, and open operations as well as office procedures such as endometrial ablation, IUD placement, and permanent birth control.

Dr. Merrick is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the Indiana State Medical Association as well as a member of the Family Centered Care Team at The Women’s Hospital. She has 3 daughters who all enjoy participating in the performing arts. In 2014, Dr. Merrick started Studio 321 including The Ballet Academy and The Studio 321 Stage to provide premier ballet training and theater in the Tri-State area.

By the time she was in sixth grade, Dr. Foster knew she wanted to be a doctor. Now, as an advocate for awareness and education, Dr. Foster gives presentations on health concerns for parents of adolescents as well as women during various life phases. Additionally, she is a member of the IU School of Medicine teaching faculty where she also mentors medical students. Dr. Foster has received numerous honors and awards related to her profession. Recently, she was named Outstanding Mentor at IU School of Medicine and was recognized by the community with a 2019 Evansville Courier & Press Readers’ Choice Award. Dr. Foster also has published research on several women’s health topics. She is a member of the Indiana State Medical Association as well as the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. As a member of the highly-respected team at Women’s Health Care, P.C., Dr. Foster is proud to partner with patients in their health care journey.

While recognized as an outstanding professional, Dr. Foster also takes great pleasure in getting to know her patients on a personal level. Patients have shared that her expertise and willingness to collaborate with her fellow specialists instills confidence and peace of mind.

Dr. Foster and her husband have five children. In addition to time spent with her family, she also enjoys being a member of Christian Fellowship Church, walking, yoga, travel, and oil painting. As an avid reader, Dr. Foster is especially fond of historical fiction.
